Personal Injury Attorney, Lipton Legal Group, has partnered with Roaming Hunger to feed local Healthcare Workers, Sheriff Departments, and Fire Departments in the Greater Los Angeles area.
The project’s mission is to feed frontline workers for the duration of the pandemic and is being achieved daily in partnership with Roaming Hunger. Lipton Legal Accident Relief Fund has raised thousands of dollars in donations to feed frontline workers.
Lipton Legal Group is identifying first responder groups around the city that could use a hot meal – the first being the Los Angeles County Sheriff Department, West Hollywood Station. Roaming Hunger will be donating its time to coordinate a schedule of food trucks to serve 100 hot meals multiple days every week.
“Our first responders are keeping our communities safe during this unprecedented time,” says Ross Resnick, Founder of Roaming Hunger. “Our partnership with Lipton Legal allows us to say thank you while also supporting our small business partners, and we’re doing it at scale.”
“This is a great partnership because while feeding first responders, we’re allowing small business to continue to work. Keeping workers employed and weathering the storm is of the utmost importance to them, and we get to help with that”, say Ross Resnick, Founder of Roaming Hunger.
Each program feeds a different group of First Responders, including local Fire Departments, Police Departments, and Hospitals. Here is the current list of frontline workers that Lipton Legal Accident Relief Fund is providing support to:
- Cedars Sinai & Cedars Sinai COVID-19 Unit
- Kaiser Cadillac
- Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department (West Hollywood)
- Los Angeles Fire Department
- Beverly Hills Fire Department
- Los Angeles Police Department
- Hollywood Police Department
The first set of food trucks that served the LA Sheriff Department were Café Vietnam Truck, G’s Taco Spot on Wheels, Pinch of Flavor, Richeeze, and The Falafel Factory. For mor information on Roaming Hunger’s COVID-19 charitable campaigns, click here.
