Vanessa Gordon, Hamptons Lifestyle Expert, and CEO and Publisher of East End Taste Magazine is excited to announce the debut of their line of handmade and hand embroidered masks for adults and children as the official launch to East End Taste’s lifestyle and apparel brand. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the masks goes to KiDS NEED MoRE, the Long Island based charity for children battling cancer and other life threatening illnesses.
“We are so happy to support a charity like KiDS NEED MoRE that does so much for Long Island families,” notes East End Taste’s CEO Vanessa Gordon. “As a mother, their mission to bring joy to children resonates with me, and we are glad to do whatever we can to support their cause.”
KiDS NEED MoRE hosts several events throughout the year to raise money for Long Island families coping with life threatening illnesses. For many years their children’s oncology camp, Camp Adventure, was held on Shelter Island, NY. Each holiday season KiDS NEED MoRE hosts a Holiday Cheer Bus Elf Ride, delivering presents to children and families all over Long Island.
“We are honored to be a part of East End Taste’s new endeavor, and very grateful for the support just in time for the holidays,” says Melissa Firmes, President of KiDS NEED MoRE.” We treasure our KiDS NEED MoRE Hamptons, Shelter Island, and North Fork family, and want to make sure they know we are here for them.”
The 100% cotton, hand embroidered masks feature “The Hamptons,” “North Fork,” and “Proud Local” as options. The fabric for the lightweight children’s masks offer whimsical designs such as ice cream cones, unicorns, and puppies. Personally designed by Vanessa, this is the tastemaker’s first foray into apparel and accessories. Beyond apparel and accessories the East End Taste lifestyle brand’s line will also include toys, stuffed animals, and beach gear.
The retail price is $14/children’s mask; $15 adult; all embroidered masks are $18/each. On select masks, the elastic is dyed to match the fabric. Limited quantities of each mask style are available.
