The experienced wine lover knows vineyards out of Paso Robles are quickly emerging as solid competition for their sister properties in Napa and Sonoma, and Halter Ranch – a 35,000 square foot winery, is positioning itself to compete with its more established brethren with active business developments coming out for the past year. Last year, the winery appointed Kevin Sass as its winemaker, and this February, Sass will be showing off his first works with the bottling of vintages of whites and rose, with reds coming as soon as April.
A winery’s reputation is only as good as its winemaker, so all eyes will be on Sass as his first vintages are released for public opinion.
For those in California’s Central Coast on April 21, Halter Ranch will be participating at the Earth Day Food and Wine Festival. Dedicated to producing sustainable wines, Halter Ranch is a SIP-certified winery.
