This summer, women from coast to coast will be packing their bags and heading South to the Big Easy just to experience one of the most exciting new festival offerings in the county. For the next few weeks, we’re taking you up-close and personal with each of the dynamic guest speakers who will complete the DIVA lineup for FestiGals Big Weekend this June 20th through 23rd. As you learn more about FestiGals, we’re convinced you’ll be making your own plans to be with us.
What woman hasn’t experienced her fair share of stress from trying to do it all? This DIVA certainly has, but like many successful woman, she’s keyed into the secret ‘recipe.’ Actually, that’s the title of her latest book, The Recipe, which focuses on achieving balance in our lives through building the right teams and partners at the office and at home.
Meet Amilya M. Antonetti, mother, entrepreneur, media personality, spokesperson and author. Over the last two decades, Antonetti has created over a dozen start-up companies and transformed them into business empires. One of her biggest successes was born out of a family crisis that Antonetti translated into Soapworks, Inc., a multi-million dollar company that ignited the consumer movement towards earth-friendlier cleaning products.
Antonetti’s presentation in New Orleans on Thursday June 20th opens the FestiGals exciting four-day weekend experience. “I am looking forward to connecting with other woman and sharing what I’ve learned on my journey. My goal is to leave people with one thing they can use from my life experience to better their own journey. I believe that when people share their ups and downs it helps others. Finally, I am looking forward to being inspired by New Orleans, its people and this amazing event that brings us all together. When woman gather, magic happens,” says Antonetti who has visited New Orleans once before.
“We are thrilled to have such a dynamic speaker like Amilya Antonetti kick-off our 3rd celebration in New Orleans,” says FestiGals Founder Diane Lyons. “Amilya is the epitome of the FestiGals profile. She’s positively engaged in the world around her while simultaneously raising a family and giving back to the causes close to her heart.”
Antonetti’s presentation focuses on formulating the correct ingredients to achieve success, whether our individual concept of success is applied towards our personal goals, professional achievements or simply creating a balanced home life. You’ll learn from a woman that’s lived it and she’s willing to share what she’s learned with other women.
