The House of Camus has an exciting announcement for the discerning Cognac aficionado: this April, the brand is releasing its Extra Elegance in the U.S. The world leader in the Extra category, CAMUS Extra is an exceptional blend of eaux-de-vie, drawn mainly from the highest rated Cognac regions of Borderies, Grande Champagne, and Petite Champagne.
A lovely golden hue, Extra is complex on the nose and palate, with hints of pastry notes, dried violets, hazelnut, tobacco and leather, with a long, velvety finish. In the mouth, the Extra Elegance shows a balance of spices, rancio and smoothness.
CAMUS Extra Elegance is expected to hit our shores this Spring, with a suggested retail price of approximately $325.00.
About Camus Cognac
Cognac Camus has been handed down since five generations in the Camus family. It is one of the cognac houses that has always gone with the developments of society and technology, from introducing strong bonds with the duty free market in the early 1960s to launching a private lounge in the heart of Beijing in 2010. Its products range from special cognac blends to wine, champagne and coffee, making it an innovative business that strives for modern strategies and wide-ranging consumers. One example is the Ile de Ré cognac, made from eaux-de-vie from an island off the cognac region, a very brave move for the still very traditional cognac industry.
Camus Cognac plans to be sold at luxury wine and spirits retailers in select cities across the US.
