URBAN enoteca, Seattle’s premier tasting destination will host an all-bubble paired chef’s dinner. The “Treveri Cellars Sparkling Wine Dinner” on Friday, November 16, 2012. The event will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the contemporary Blanc De Blanc room.
Jüergen Grieb, winemaker for Treveri Cellars, is joining the festivities to sit with guests and talk about his philosophies on Yakima’s bubbliest winery. He has proven that sparkling wine – especially Treveri Cellars – is no longer just for celebrating or simply a toast, and this is an amazing chance to learn it all from the master. Guests will taste sparkling varietals in Pinot Gris, Rosé and even a rich sparkling Syrah. From scallops to elk served alongside farro and hearty winter vegetables, Executive Chef Chris Opsata guides your palate through the warm fall musings. Attendees of the “Treveri Cellars Sparkling Wine Dinner” will develop a new respect for bubbles as outstanding accompaniments to savory culinary delights.
Two lucky guests will receive lunch and a tour of the Treveri Cellar’s new Wapato Winery location (available for redemption after January 1, 2013). Seating for the “Treveri Sparkling Wine Dinner” is limited to twenty guests; reservations are required. The cost is $95 per person, plus tax and gratuity, which includes a five-course dinner with paired sparkling wines.
