Do you ever feel like you can’t tell your burrata from your fromage blanc? Or what is a fromage blanc, or what do you pair it with? If you’re going to be in the Boston area in September and you’re looking to expand your knowledge of soft cheese pairings and craft, this is for you.
Join Boston Winery, with special guest “Cask and Culture”, on Thursday September 27, 2012 from 6-9:00pm for an evening of wine and artisanal cheese.
A mozzarella, fromage blanc, and ricotta cheese making demonstration will be presented with emphasis on small-scale craftsmanship. These are cheeses that you can sometimes make at home, so you should not only come out of this class with an expanded wine horizon, but more skills in the kitchen. And even if you’re not a cook, when Boston Winery’s sommelier pairs handcrafted wine with these local artisanal cheeses, life just gets better!
Call Boston Winery (617-265-9463) for reservations, as this is a limited space demonstration.
Tickets are $35 per person, or $30 for college student with a current college ID. This is a 21+ event.
