This 145-seat, 4,000-square-foot restaurant, features a chic interior dining room that opens up onto a covered outdoor patio overlooking the Fountain Center’s lovely, piazza-style fountains.
On a recent visit, I had the opportunity to taste an array of dishes beginning with a super lump crab cake large enough for two to split, and a carpaccio platter made with tender, fresh beef from Creekstone Farm and served with local arugula, 2 yr aged parmesan, and garlic herb aioli.
For my entree, I ordered a filet mignon served with butcher butter, red wine demi and hand-cut malt vinegar steak fries, it was perfectly seasoned, and cooked just to my liking. Also on the menu is a Veal Tomahawk Chop plated with grilled asparagus, roasted garlic asiago mashed potatoes, onion rings, and finished with a Saltimbocca sauce, as well as fresh caught Local Snapper with a sweet corn & heirloom bean succatash, crispy asparagus, corn nage & saffron oil.
For dessert, don’t leave without trying Butcher Block’s creamy stuffed Creme Brûlée, with a hidden stash of fresh berries served in a pie crust, or the signature fresh goat cheese cheesecake with spiced pistachio crust.
