Varietal: 100% Sauvignon Blanc,
Color: Light yellow
Notes: Cool, medium bodied in the traditional Bordeaux style of sauvignon blanc. Herbal, grassy, with hints of lemon zest and citrus. Bright, crisp, and refreshing.
Pairing: Seafood, ceviche, light pasta dishes. We like this wine with grilled oysters and a bit of lemon, as well as lightly steamed asparagus. Would pair well with a tart fruit dessert, or fresh, tropical fruit and aged goat cheese.
Overall:
Perfect wine for spring or summer, at an affordable price.
Winemaker Notes:
The wine’s aromatic intensity expresses the typical characteristics of a fine Bordeaux Sauvignon Blanc at a tremendous value. Rigorous fruit selection results in an extensive array of aromatic citrus fruits, finishing on delicate, tropical notes reminiscent of passion fruit. The aromatics are underpinned on the palate by the magnificent harmony of the wine’s fleshy character and refreshing liveliness.
