The Wellington Steak & Martini Lounge in San Diego’s historic Mission Hills, offers
Each is green for two reasons: Color and the organic factor and comprised of ingredients from local farms.
Manic Gardener:
2 oz Scotty Brunson fig bourbon
2 turns coarse cracked black pepper
8 leaves of Garden arugula
1/4 oz home made simple syrup
1/4 oz fresh lime juice
squeeze one orange wedge
Muddle arugula and bourbon with ice, add remaining ingredients, shake and pour entire contents into a rocks glass.
Top with quick splash soda water.
Reckless Pilgrim
1.5 oz Garden citrus vodka (lemons and oranges)
8 green grapes cut in half
4 baby kiwis cut in half, ends removed
..5 oz lime juice
..5 oz Hendricks gin
1 oz Fevertree ginger beer
In a shaker filled with ice, combine vodka, grapes, and baby kiwis & muddle.
Add all remaining ingredients except for the ginger beer, shake thoroughly,
and pour contents into a collins glass.
Top with the ginger beer.
The Mayan Apocalypse:
1.5 oz 123 Organic tequila
8 leaves Garden arugula (save one for garnish, set aside)
1 lime wedge
1/2 oz agave syrup
1.5 oz J Vineyard sparkling wine
Muddle all ingredients in a shaker filled with ice except sparkling wine.
Shake and strain into a martini glass.
Top with J Vineyards sparkling wine, garnish with arugula.
Urban Farm Tini:
1 TBSP avocado
3/4 oz dry vermouth
1.5 oz Garden citrus vodka (lemons and oranges)
1/2 oz home made simple syrup
Combine all ingredients in a shaker filled with ice.
Shake and strain into a martini glass.
Garnish with 1/2 salt rim and Suzie’s microgreens
Bogus Botanist:
1.5 large Suzie’s Farm strawberry sliced (save one slice for garnish)
..5 oz Garden arugula vodka
1 oz Garden citrus vodka
1 oz fresh lemon juice
1 oz home made simple syrup
Fill a shaker with ice.
Add strawberry and arugula vodka, muddle thoroughly.
Add remaining ingredients, shake and strain into a martini glass
Garnish with a slice of strawberry.
Latin Lover
1.5 oz 123 Organic tequila
..5 oz cointreau
..5 oz fresh lime juice
..5 oz home made simple syrup
5 slices jalapeno (save one for garnish)
half a handful of cilantro
1 oz cactus (already sauteed)
Combine all ingredients in a shaker filled with ice and shake the pants off of it 😉
Strain into a martini glass. Garnish with jalapeno.
