We like this recipe for it’s unique take on a traditional classic cocktail. By roasting the tomatoes, their flavor becomes richer and a bit sweeter. The jalapeno creates a little kick of spice, and fresh lemon juice adds a bright acidic note.
Delicious for summer sipping!
Roasted Cherry Tomato Bloody Mary
- 12-15 Roasted Cherry Tomatoes
- ¼ oz. Lemon Juice
- 1 oz. Vodka
- 3 dashes Worcestershire Sauce
- 4 dashes Tabasco
- 1 slice of Jalapeno
- Fresh Cracked Pepper and Salt to taste
In a pint glass, muddle roasted cherry tomatoes with all ingredients, except the vodka. Fill the glass up with ice, add vodka, and then stir for approximately 30 seconds.
Strain into salt-rimmed glass over fresh ice and, if you wish, garnish with lemon wedge, celery stalk, and olive.
