As you map out your 2016 super sized Big Game party details, you’re likely conjuring up dreams of queso cheese dip, spicy hot wings, spinach dips, heroic-sized nachos and cheesy chili potato skins, with a healthy dose of beer. As firm believers in variety, however, we think having a pitcher or big bowl party sized cocktails makes for the perfect addition to any game day menu.
For our cocktail and spicy food fans, here are a few ideas to get you started.
Stir the Soltado Tequila, amaretto liqueur, juice, and bitters together in a punch bowl, with ice. Garnish. Serve immediately.
Sack the Quarterback

Serves 20+
1 bottle of Soltado Tequila
8 cups apple cider, chilled
1 large bottle ginger beer (750 ml), chilled
3 bottles dry hard cider, chilled
½ cup fresh lemon juice
5 dashes Scrappy’s orange bitters
1 medium orange, sliced thin
1 apple, sliced thin horizontally (discard seeds)
Garnish: star anise, cinnamon sticks
Combine all ingredients in a large punch bowl, stir. Top with orange slices, apple slices, cinnamon sticks, and star anise. Ladle into punch glasses, serve.
Blackberry Gin Fizz

Serves 20+
1 bottle Boodle’s Mulberry Gin
2 cups blackberries
1 bunch mint leaves
1 cup superfine sugar
1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup fresh lime juice
1 bottle seltzer water
ice for bowl
Directions
Muddle blackberries, mint leaves, sugar, lemon juice and lime juice in a large bowl until berries are mostly crushed. Add seltzer, gin, and ice.
Stir well, and serve over ice.
Place salt and pepper in a shallow saucer. Rub rim of a collins glass with a lemon wedge, dip into salt mixture. Set glass aside.
Add Worcestershire, black pepper, cayenne pepper sauce, and horseradish to a pitcher or bowl. Fill Soltado Tequila, tomato juice, and juice of remaining lemon wedges. Stir, taste for seasoning and heat, and adjust as necessary. Surround with bloody Mary garnish bar for guests to choose as toppings.
Onside Mule Kick

Serves 20+
1 bottle Soltado Tequila
½ bottle ginger liqueur
2 ½ cups fresh lemon juice
2 tbs aromatic bitters
10-12 bottles ginger beer (or 1 ½ 2 liter bottles)
Garnish: Mint sprigs, orange slices, lime slices
Stir Soltado Tequila, liqueur, juice, and bitters together in a punch bowl, with ice. Add ginger beer, float mint sprigs, orange, and lime slices. Serve immediately.
Halftime Hula
Serves 20
20 oz. aged Bacardi rum
10 oz. St. Germain
10 oz. passion fruit nectar
10oz. mango nectar
10 oz. agave
40 oz. pineapple juice
20 oz. fresh lime juice
1 tsp nutmeg, grated
Garnish with lime wheels
Combine ingredients into a punch bowl with ice. Garnish with nutmeg and lime wheels.
The Half-Time Show
Serves 10+
20 oz Santera Blanco Tequila
1 1/2 cups fresh Lime Juice
1 3/4 cup Mint Simple Syrup*
6 limes, cut into wedges or wheels
1 bunch, Mint Sprigs
Club soda to top
In a shaker, combine tequila, juice and simple syrup. Add ice and shake vigorously. Fill a Collins glass with fresh ice and add lime.
Mint Simple Syrup
1 Bunch fresh mint leaves
2 pt. Water
1 pt. Raw sugar
Bring water to a boil in a saucepan and reduce to a simmer. Add mint and steep on simmer for 15-20 minutes. Strain the mint and continue to simmer until the liquid is reduced to 1 pint. Remove from heat and add sugar. Stir to dissolve and chill the syrup.
The Bronco
Serves 20+
20 oz. Van Gogh Oranje Vodka
1 bottle of Orange Juice
1- 2 liter of Club Soda
Pour vodka and juice into a punch bowl, stir in club soda. Serve in ice-filled highball glasses with fruit.
Third and Goal

Serves 20+
½ bottle Soltado Tequila
1 750-ml bottle dry rosé wine, chilled
1 750-ml bottle Martini & Rossi Prosecco, chilled
1/2 cup agave nectar
2 cups dry lemon soda, chilled
3 organic oranges, sliced thin
4 organic lemons, sliced thin
4 organic limes, sliced thin
½ bunch mint sprigs, washed
Put half the fruit and mint in a large pitcher. Pour in Soltado Tequila and the agave nectar, mix gently. Add the rosé wine, cover, and chill for 2 hours.
Pour the tequila wine mixture into a large bowl, or divide into two pitchers. Top off with prosecco, more fruit, and lemon soda.
The Kick Off
Serves 10+
10 oz. 1800 Silver
2 cups Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice
1 cup Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
1 cup Lime Juice Cordial
1 cup Green Chartreuse
Stir all ingredients into a punch bowl filled with ice. Serve over ice.
The Touchdown
Serves 10+
10 oz. Hangar 1 Mandarin Blossom Vodka
10 oz. Sweet Vermouth
8 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
4 oz. Simple Syrup
8 dashes Angostura bitters
Seltzer Water
Add ingredients to a punch bowl, stir. Serve over ice. Top with seltzer.
