Fall has officially arrived, and that means the holidays are right around the corner. For many, the holiday season represents a time for giving – from gifts for friends and family, to canned goods, and a few dollars shared with those in need.
To support local businesses that want to give back to their communities, Soltado Tequila has kicked off their first annual ‘Cocktails for a Cause’, donating a percentage of sales to charities across the country. From organizations that provide assistance to breast cancer survivors, to local food banks and homeless assistance programs, each of these charities were chosen by Soltado Tequila’s venue partners, and will receive a donation on their behalf.
Giving back to local communities is a central part of Soltado Tequila’s core mission and values. “This is our first year with the campaign, and we want to show our support to those who are supporting us as a new brand”, says owner, David Weissman. “Each of these charities were selected personally by our venue partners, and through the sale of our cocktails, we’ve created an easy way for customers to do good for worthy causes this holiday season.”
The promotion kicks off during October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and will continue through the end of November 2016. Consumers can support the promotion by purchasing a specially themed ‘cocktail for charity’, featured on the menu at various food and beverage establishments.
