#1 – Domaines Baron Rothschild 2011 Lafite Reserve Speciale Bordeaux Blanc
This is a pale, straw yellow colored wine, nice and light for summer drinking.
On the nose, the wine is aromatic and very pretty, dominated by aromas of tropical and citrus fruits (grapefruit, lime) and hints of quince and pineapple. From the Bordeaux region, this is a very easy to drink white wine that we’d pair with lobster rolls or a fresh shrimp salad.
Sauvignon brings flavours and crispness, while Sémillon gives fullness and rounds out the body. Grape Varieties: 60% Sémillon, 40% Sauvignon Blanc.

#2 – Goldwater Sauvignon Blanc, New Zealand
Pale straw gold in color, this sauvignon blanc has a gorgeous nose of passion fruit, grapefruit, and cantaloupe with citrus notes of lime and lemon peel. This wine is ripe, rich, and flavorful. It’s crisp mouth feel is a great palate cleanser, elegant, with a nice, long finish.
From the Wairau Valley of Marlborough, New Zealand, the soil in this region tends to be dry, highly draining, and loamy, adding hints of herbs, pepper and subtle minerality. Yeast is added to create more depth and complexity.

Pale gold in color, this sauvignon blanc is fragrant, fruity, and dry, with nose of gooseberry, lime zest, and grapefruit.
Flavors of peach, lychee fruit, and wild strawberries show through beautifully. The finish is lingering, almost buttery, with a nod toward the stoney, shale based earth these vines grow in. Balanced acidity and a crisp end note rounds out this wine profile.

Golden yellow in color, with bright lemon notes immediately coming to the forefront. This wine pops with citrus intensity, and aromas of ripe peaches and stone fruits.
The nose hints at lychee, melon, and apricot. Mouth feel is clean and refreshing, a nice, fresh wine for summer drinking. Grape Variety: 100% Sauvignon Blanc.
