Guests love TRACE’s new sustainably sourced sushi menu, and the chefs love to serve it to them. Now everyone can learn how to rock out a sushi roll (made with locally sourced fish, of course) at home with TRACE’s Sushi Seminars, held on three Saturdays, September 15, October 20 and November 10. Classes are held from 2 to 4 p.m., and cost $75 per person, with a limit of 10 people. Hayeong, TRACE’s sushi maestro, will instruct class attendees on the ins and outs of roll making in this two hour class, which includes a sake tutorial, recipes for three rolls and a cocktail to pair, along with a newly found confidence.
From California to Veggie and Spicy Tuna, attendees will learn how to roll their own in no time! The class fee for the inaugural class on September 15 includes a complimentary night’s stay at the W Seattle, as well as gifts of W coasters and a W CD. What a deliciously amazing deal. When attendees and a guest up for more than one class there are big saving to be had. Buy two classes and the cost will be $140 per person. Sign up for all three classes and the cost will be $195 per person. During October and November classes, all attendees will be included in a drawing for a complimentary overnight stay.
Guests can make it a fun downtown weekend and roll on up to a room at W Seattle after their Sushi Class. W Seattle is offering some enticing overnight packages, which include early check in at 1 p.m. on the day of the class, attendance for two to the class, two cocktails and one appetizer in TRACE to enjoy later that evening and a late, 2 p.m. check-out the next day. Purchase one class with an overnight stay for $269; purchase two classes with one overnight stay for $249; or purchase three classes with one overnight stay for $219.
