Passionate about rum? Enjoy bars dedicated to quality rum cocktails? Want to meet other like-minded rum enthusiasts? Join The Rum Collective at Tango on Capitol Hill for a special evening of Rums from the Canary Islands this Saturday, August 25th!
Nick Feris, deemed the “Pied Piper of Rum” by Steve Bennett of Uncommon Caribbean, is at it again, this time with the 10th meeting of The Rum Collective featuring Ron Arehucas rum. The evening will be a formal tasting & discussion of the entire Ron Arehucas line, plus cocktails.
Two specialty cocktails will be created and crafted by the rum loving bartenders at Tango. Spanish style tapas will be provided, so you can enjoy the venue, the skill of amazing bartenders, and experience new rums.
The educational tasting includes:
- Ron Arehucas Carta Blanca
- Ron Arehucas Carta Oro
- Ron Miel
- Ron Arehucas 7 Select Rum
Ron Arehucas 12 anos Reserva Special
Many of these simply don’t have markets in Seattle or even the US, so it’s a great opportunity to build your rum repertoire. There will be also one final rum to taste announced at the meeting, and according to Nick, it is most definitely worth being there for. Plus, you’ll get the inside story from the people bringing you Seattle’s new Cuban themed restaurant and Rum bar that’s opening soon next door!
Please make your reservations soon as available seating is limited.
Admission is $25 per person for an intimate evening with truly amazing people and rum. Don’t miss it! If you have any questions, check out their Facebook page on the event.
