Socializing for Social Change (S4SC) presents #S4SC Global Health Month Benefiting Jolkona. Held at Makers Space July 26, 2012, starting at 6pm, this one-day social event will help raise funds and awareness for Jolkona Foundation in honor of Global Health Month.
July is Global Health Month, part of the six-month celebration for the Seattle World Fair’s 50th-anniversary, home to the Seattle Center. S4SC is excited to host an event with the Jolkona Foundation to raise awareness for three of their Global Health projects:
In Bengali, Jolkona means “drop of water”, which is befitting in that they believe that “every drop counts.” Small or large, every donation makes a difference.
“At Jolkona, we cut through the noise for donors – we find the projects you can trust, on the issues you care about and make it easy to support,” says the Jolkona Foundation.
The event will be full of socializing and making a difference, complete with great music, drinks, small bites, and plenty of goodies. The full amount of each ticket sold will go to your choice of one of three Global Health projects. Join us! Purchase your ticket now at http://s4scglobalhealthmonth.eventbrite.com.
