Argosy Cruises has three boats going out to watch the air show this Saturday and Sunday, August 3rd and 4th. The dining ship, the Royal Argosy, departs from Kirkland’s Carillion Point with a lunch cruise from 12:00pm – 3:00pm. The largest boat of Argosy Cruises’ fleet will offer amazing views and a delicious Northwest-inspired buffet. Two viewing-only cruises on the Sightseer and Celebrations boats depart at 12:00pm and return at 3:15. The Sightseer departs from Kirkland’s City Dock, and Celebrations departs from Seattle’s AGC Marina on South Lake Union. Limited seating is still available for all three cruises.
The Patriots Jet Team isn’t new to Seattle. They performed during the Seafair Air Show in 2007 and 2008. The six-ship aerobatic team fly L-39s, and entertains spectators with fast-paced formation flying, including their signature “Tail Slide,” where the aircraft actually slides backwards toward the ground. This stunt is only performed by two other jet precision teams, Italy’s Frecce Tricolori and the Heavy Metal Jet Team.
Tickets are going fast, to ensure you’ve got the best seat for the air show go to www.argosycruises.com.
