Are you a jewelry designer, geologist, or otheriwise enthusiast of all things rock and fossil? The Central Florida Mineral and Gem Society, a not-for-profit educational organization, is presenting a Rock, Mineral, Gem, Jewelry & Fossil Show on the following dates Sept. 11th, Sept. 12th, Sept. 13th, 2015. This show will be hosted at the Florida National Guard Armory, 2809 South Fern Creek Ave., Orlando, FL 32806 which is close to the organization’s own workshops where they often host classes for analyzing rocks and crafting jewelry.
The Central Florida Mineral and Gem Society was founded in 1961 and is dedicated to the subject of rocks, minerals, fossils, and arts related to these aras such as jewelry and beading.
The showtimes are as follows: Fri. 1 pm to 6 pm, Sat. 10am to 6pm and Sun. 10am to 5pm.
There will be many stands and vendors offering a multitude of information and services as well as goods. There will be may minerals, rocks, fossils, and gemstones (rough and cut) to see and purchase. There will also be jewelry such as beads and custom jewelry items as many artisans and Denver jewelry designers are expected to have stalls set up for the show.
Also to be featured at the show are Silent Auctions, Door Prizes, Demonstrations, and Family activities.
Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for students.
