On Sunday, May 19th the University District Food Bank is launching the public leg of their $2.75 million Fight Hunger, Build Hope capital campaign to raise funds for a new facility in the most delicious way possible – a Food Truck Roundup. From 3-7 p.m. at the Phinney Neighborhood Center, get a chance to dine at some of the best trucks in Seattle, plus some new faces like the Road Toad mobile kitchen from Barking Frog.
The capital campaign will fund a new four-story food bank facility that will include a grocery store-style food bank, low income housing, job training, a rooftop garden and more at 50th and Roosevelt.

Live music by The Blackberry Bushes, Washover Fans and Ali Marcus
Tickets are $25 per person and include eight food bites and four beverage tastes. Guests who donate $100 will receive the food bank’s new Community Cookbook with recipes from Tilth, Tavolata, Agrodolce, Crush, LloydMartin, Cafe Flora and many other local favorites.
