The San Francisco Travel Association is throwing a Launch Party on Thursday, January 10, beginning at 6 p.m. at City View at METREON, 101 4th St. (between Howard and Minna streets) to celebrate the arrival of the 12th annual “Dine About Town San Francisco.” Participating restaurants will provide tastes from their “Dine About Town” menus and guests will have the opportunity to sample wines, beers and spirits from the Bay Area and beyond. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the Launch Party will benefit Meals on Wheels. Tickets are $50 per person for guests 21 and over and must be purchased in advance at www.dineabouttown.com/launch.

Reservations are also now available for 12th annual “Dine About Town San Francisco,” which takes place on January 15-31, 2013. More than 100 of San Francisco’s best restaurants are participating, offering a two or three-course lunch menus for $18.95 and/or three-course dinner menus for $36.95.
