Arthur Murray Presents Dancing With Chicago Celebrities, “Pink Carpet Premiere” ninth annual charity ball to raise funds for the fight against breast cancer. The all-star event will be held on Friday, March 7 at Hyatt Regency Chicago, 151 E. Wacker Drive. Festivities begin at 6 p.m. and ballroom doors open at 7 p.m.
All net proceeds of this unique event will be donated to the Northwestern Memorial Foundation, directed to an innovative research effort focused on a breast cancer vaccine trial, and Imerman Angels, a non-profit organization that provides personalized connections that enable 1-on-1 support among cancer fighters, survivors and caregivers.
Local celebrities and corporate superstars have been practicing hard in preparation to take the stage and duke it out on the dance floor! Each dancer will be paired with a professional partner, generously provided by Arthur Murray Dance Centers. To add even more glamour to the evening, professional judge Nick Kosovich from ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars” and Snow Urbin from “So You Think You Can Dance” will serve as the ballroom judges.
The star-studded line up includes: Daniella Guzman, NBC 5; Kris Gutierrez, CBS 2; Cortney Hall, WGN TV; Ravi Baichwal, ABC 7, Reid Simpson, Former NHL Player; Dan Proft, WLS-AM Radio; and Aly Bockler- You & Me This Morning on WCIU, the U.
The dance floor would not be complete without some of the city’s finest corporate superstars who will also be taking the floor. Scheduled to appear in the Corporate Challenge are Dr. Virginia Kaklamani, Northwestern Medicine; Jonny Imerman, Founder of Imerman Angels; Susan B. Noyes, Make It Better Media; Drew Nieman, U.S. Equities; Barbara Sessions, Winston & Strawn; John F. Verhey, DLA Piper; and Ken Churilla, author, songwriter, and Director of Marketing, Balmoral Park.
Several sizzling alumni are also scheduled to make an appearance, including via satellite’06 Champion Rick Bayless, world-renowned chef from Frontera Grill; ’08 Champion Dina Bair from WGN; and 2012 MVP Kim Vatis from NBC 5. ABC 7 Windy City Live’s Ryan Chivariani will return as an event emcee.
