It’s December, which means all the awesome charity events are starting around town. Of course, we at Crave Local need time to get our booze on first, and so do you. And there’s not much better for combining boozing and karma boosting than the Bootleggers Ball!
Join One World Now and the Benevolent Guild for a Bootlegging experience from the Roaring Twenties at Roxy’s Backdoor in Fremont on Sunday, December 9th. The second you walk in it will be an experience straight from the Prohibition Era. Roxy’s Backdoor will be slinging their signature gin cocktails and tailored drinks from the era, and jello shots if you want to feel more modern. And to go with all that wonderful booze will be the food of the times, from Clams Casino and Stuffed Mushrooms to Waldorf Salad and Burgundy Beef.
You will even receive a goodie bag with fun stuff relating to the 1920’s and there will be a photo booth on site for memories of the evening. During the night cigarette gals will be selling raffle tickets, there will be an art auction, and other surprises are in store.
The Benevolent Guild, a non-profit organization whose mission is to bring awareness and raise money for local non-profits through adult beverages and good time, is hosting and raising scholarship money for the kids of One World Now, a non-profit who provides education and international cultural experiences to underserved kids in King County.
This is an event for 21 and over, so dress to impress and join in for a ball! Proceeds earned will go towards raising scholarship money towards education and international cultural experiences to underserved kids in King County with One World Now and various other charities, so you can get your gin on with an extra fuzzy feeling in your heart.
Tickets are $50 and available through Brown Paper Tickets. If you have any questions, contact The Benevolent Guild.
Thanks, The Benevolent Guild! We’re always in search of more gin cocktails.
