If you don’t have a ticket to the December 29th Chicago Bears vs. Green Bay Packers game, you won’t have to travel far for the ultimate indoor/outdoor tailgate game-watching event. Just as if you were bundled up in your orange and blue in the Soldier Field parking lot, football fans of all ages can head to Wickets for a pre-, during- and post- tailgate event on the restaurant’s patio and bar. Beginning at 10 a.m. with a noon kickoff, guests can enjoy free parking, football eats and a cold brew as they watch the historical rivals battle it out.
The ‘Bear Down’ bites will be plentiful, enjoyed right off the grill, including bratwursts ($3.50), char-broiled hot dogs ($2.50), burgers ($3.50) and chili ($2.50). The full bar will be open in addition to Corona or Corona Light specials ($3.50 each). Once the coin toss is determined, the game will be broadcasted on the 160 inch projector screen and ten indoor and outdoor HD TVs.
The tailgate will be on Sunday, December 29 and will begin at 10:00 a.m.; Game kickoff at 12:00 p.m. Reservations are recommended.
