Diners around Chicago are invited to American Junkie this Labor Day to feast their way through the long holiday weekend while giving back to a foundation that provides support for individuals with paralysis and helps prevent spinal cord injuries.
Executive Chef Kendal Duque has crafted an all-American three-course “Proud to Be an American” menu featuring some of the country’s most beloved eats. Included in the menu, guests can sip on their choice of selected beverages from American Junkie’s popular specialty cocktails to a variety of American draft beer.
$5 from every “Proud to Be an American” menu ordered through Labor Day weekend will be donated back to the Darrell Gwynn Foundation. This organization helps raise awareness and supports research for a cure to those affected with spinal cord injuries and paralysis.
