For those who aren’t familiar with this grandiose version of wines, large format wines are classified as anything more than 1.5 liters (the equivalent of two bottles of wine), and can be purchased in 1.5, 3, 5 and 6 liter bottles. Known for their superior taste and grandiose size, each large format wine is hand-bottled, which makes production limited and availability rare. The size alone will wow guests but the taste is amazing too.
Tina Messina, co-owner of the Wine ConneXtion recommends these bottles because they are more than just a bold statement, as they add a unique touch to holiday dinner parties and make an impressive gift for both avid wine collectors and hard-to-buy-for friends! Although the Wine ConneXtion offers an extensive variety, these bottles come in a limited quantity and in some cases, the store only receives one bottle — so if a bottle stands out, don’t wait too long to buy it!
