On October 12, the Seattle Design Center becomes the cheese center of Washington state for one day of delicious tasting. Not only is it a chance to meet the makers, from Little Brown Farm to Samish Bay Cheese, it’s a chance to taste their cheeses, which are often seasonal. It’s also a great way to see all the farmers that don’t normally reach your local farmer’s market. And since cheese is absolutely amazing for pairings, local cider, beer, and wine tastes are included in the ticket price. Also, a portion of proceeds benefit the Cascade Harvest Coalition, supporting our growing local food culture.
Tickets are $35, or $40 at the door, and include cheese tastes and 3 drink tickets (beer tastes are 1 ticket each and cider and wine tastes are 2 tickets each). Tickets are non-refundable. Separate tickets required for each session. This is a 21 and over only event.
To purchase tickets, check out the full list of delicious vendors, and more information, visit the Washington Artisan Cheesemakers site or Brown Paper Tickets page.
