On Tuesday, May 26th, 2015, Executive Chef & Owner of Valentino Cucina Italiana, Giovanni Rocchio, will guide guests through an exceptional dining experience featuring an artful modern twist to Italian dishes paired with fine wine from Penfolds Winery, one of Australia’s oldest and most iconic wineries.
Special guest celebrity sommelier, DLynn Proctor, named the “Best New Sommelier in America” by Wine & Spirits Magazine in 2008, is the Winemaking Ambassador for Penfolds Winery and will be educating guests on the flavor profiles paired with Chef Rocchio’s dishes. Starring in the hit documentary, SOMM, Proctor will meet and greet with guests while answering questions and providing recommendations.
Proctor will be featuring the iconic 2010 Penfolds Grange for supplemental pours. A 2-ounce pour will be available for $50 and a 4-ounce pour for $100.
