The Bellevue Collection Spring Runway Show has arrived… And you know what that means? Sunshine is just around the corner! I had the chance to preview the season’s fresh-for-spring trends and accessories.
This exclusive before-hours Bellevue Square event donated 100% of the proceeds to benefit the Seattle Art Museum. Top Pot doughnuts, Cinnabons, and miniature quiche bites were available to nosh on.
For a complimentary hair consultation and a simple makeover, Sephora and 7 Salon were available, featuring the season’s hot trend; ruby red lip color.
Spring fashion and the sun are both inspiring and are much anticipated! It happened to be a typical cloudy day here, but when the music began and models hit the runway, you could visualize a tropical retreat. Fun stripes, bright bold colors, exotic patterns, and sheer fabrics were visually stimulating. All reminiscence of a long overdue vacation that will finally allow you to put your Cheeky One Piece Bathing Suits to good use while catching the suns rays. The looks included casual clothes that most people would be comfortable wearing (like the Tommy Bahama “island hopping” beachwear) to more flamboyant outfits that are better left on the runway. (Harem pants… Really?)
It was fun to see a few pieces that are definitely on my “wish list” this Spring; Five inch platform wedge sandals, a bright blue handbag (to make that everyday outfit “pop”) and a white crochet cover-up. I’m ready for cocktails by the waterfront!
Save the date: September 25-29, 2013 for Fall Fashion Week at the Bellevue Collection. Day-to-night events including runway shows, chic parties and much more. Be inspired!
