Emily Ellyn is Central Florida’s favorite celebrity chef, and she’s known for always sporting her signature Retro-Rad SEE Eyewear Cateye glasses. Guests had the chance to try on dozens of new cateye designs, including a brand new line from Mondo Guerra. Emily served cateye-themed cupcakes from Gigi’s Cupcakes to sweeten up the afternoon for all of her guests.
Michael Joshua Ring, brand ambassador for the Brown-Forman family of fine whiskies mixed up a variety of delicious Cateye Cocktails. One crowd favorite was his unique old-fashioned, and lemonade with tangy ginger syrup.

Many guests arrived in vintage-inspired getups to enjoy a Classic Car Photo Opp, courtesy of Cole’s Classic Cars For Hire. Many accented their retro looks with hats and fascinators from The Rad Hattress Shoppe by Tiffany Namey and Jim Hobart of Macbeth Photography captured each guest in their ultimate pinup perfection.
Guest Sonia Boehringer raved, “I had so much fun! This event was my first time dressing up like a 50’s girl, and I absolutely loved it. We need to do parties like this at least once a month so we can keep our vintage vixen vibe going all year round!” Well, Sonia and other Retro Rad babes are in luck, because Emily has another vintage dress-up party right around the corner, the Mad Men event at Rosen Centre Hotel.
Ladies and Gents, get your vintage duds ready for more fun in December!
